Ep. 51 Beast of Bladenboro: The Vampire Cat of North Carolina
In this episode, we dive into the chilling legend of the Beast of Bladenboro—a mysterious creature that terrorized a small North Carolina town in the 1950s. Described by witnesses as a large, panther-like beast with glowing eyes, the creature was said to have a taste for pet dogs, other livestock, and possibly more. Fear spread quickly as reports of mauled animals and drained blood poured in, prompting armed hunting parties to take to the woods. We follow the story from its eerie beginnings to when the attacks suddenly stopped… only for similar events to resurface in 2007 just miles away. We dig into the theories, the hysteria, and whether something truly unnatural was roaming the shadows.
